Blog 5: My personal interests in music

 Hello there! In this blog, I´ll write about my favorite music genre and my favorite band.

We know that around the world and cultures exists a big variety of musical genres, between them is my favorite and the genre that I listen to almost always in my daily life, nu metal.


Even though this is my favorite genre of music, also I like to listen to other genres. 
I´m very adaptable to different types of music, like classic music, only instruments, alternative music (like Mac DeMarco), rock (like Arctic Monkeys), hip hop (like Chystemc), r/b soul (like Joji), to name a few. 


The only genre that I don´t like so much is the actual reggaeton and trap, but I tolerate it anyways.

To continue with my favorite music genre, nu metal likes me for a lot of reasons, firstly because since I´m a child in my house I´ve listened to this genre and a lot of bands, my mother's favorite genre is also this so we share this personal interest. 

Another reason is that when I know a little bit about English, I started to appreciate the lyrics of the songs and give them different meanings.

The last reason is that I like so much the instruments that are used in the genre, electric guitar, drum, and bass, are some of them, and is my dream that one day I can learn how to interpret music on bass.


In nu metal exists bands like Slipknot, Korn, SOAD, Limp Bizkit, Pantera, Coal Chamber, Papa Roach, and a lot more, and among them, my favorite is Deftones.


I like a lot this band, for the albums that they released, the songs, the instruments, the vibe of the band, and the sense that his songs can make the fans feel.
Deftones have a personal touch, they can transmit different feelings with their songs.


This band came to Chile last May 2018, and I can´t wait when they announce that will come again.
 I´m so hopeful about the Knotfest of this year, could be that they come to this event? I hope it, and also to have money for that haha!

    I haven't heard to much of Slipknot but i know that is a band very famous :0, i've heard one of two songs of Joji and Arctic Monkeys and they were really good :)

    Goodnight Isidora. I like some the themes composed by the Arctic Monkeys. One of my best friends is a big fan of the band and it inspired him to learn the drums and play music by himself

 Hello everyone, hoping that you`re great today, in this blog I share with you my experience with my first concert. It was the last 11st december, I went to the Knotfest with my mom in the monumental stadium. Was a great experience, since we bought the tickets till we´re there.  First, we don`t know if we can go to the concert, because the tickets was too expensive and while the organizers announce the artists and the bands that will go to the knotfest, the tickets were selling so fast. Blog 3: My dream job

 Hi classmates and miss, today I´m going to write about my dream job.  I´ve thought that my dream job could be like doing talks around our country, I´m studying psychology and I want in the future share what I´ve learned about my college career, also will like me if I can, work with patients in my own space or with my best friend, we have plans about our future and live that work moments together. Specifically I want to talk about children and some tips for the parents, so the breeding and the memories of the childhood in the sons will be more affable. With my best friend we want to work in the teleton, in my case helping to the families and making that the recovery process be more easy and more friendly. Blog 4: Time travel

 Hello everyone, today I'm writing about time travel. I think if I would have the opportunity I´ll travel to the past, like to the medieval age. This is because I love the clothes at that age and also the dances, queens and kings, horses, etc.  Something like "Pride and Prejudice". Furthermore, the Disney movies like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and the seven dwarfs, influenced my childhood and the human adaptations of these films gave me a view of what was that age. The environment was so natural, and houses bring a family sense. "Pride and Prejudice" isn´t the only film set in this age, there also exist "Enola Holmes", "Mujercitas", etc. I have to tell that I would go there apart from the cultural reasons to observe the differences between genders.
